ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

The essential functions of this position consist of the ability to hear, write, read, and comprehend what is read with or without reasonable accommodations.  In fulfilling this job, one must possess enough physical mobility to lift at least 50 pounds and possess a high degree of manual dexterity.  Must be able to complete all aspects of floor maintenance.


SPECIFIC DUTIES

-Perform good quality floor care duties.
A. Dust Mopping, Wet Mopping, and Vacuuming
B. Machine & Hand Scrubbing (including doodle bugging edges and corners)
C. Polishing
D. Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning & Spotting
E. Scrubbing & Top Coating
F. Stripping & Waxing
G. Window Cleaning
-Maintain equipment and floor care closet in a clean and workable order.
-Maintain the cleanliness of company vehicles.
-Act in a responsible and professional manner and obey all safety rules.
-This position will require work at several contracted job sites.
-This position may require some evening and weekend work.
-Complete proper paper work daily: time sheets, work orders, inspection reports, etc.
-Complete general janitorial and custodial duties.
-Perform any and all duties independently or with team members.
-Perform all other duties requested by the Custodial Services Supervisor.

HOURS: Part-Time /15-25 hours per week, varied times, and possible evening and weekend work required

QUALIFICATIONS:   Previous experience in floor care maintenance.  Must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to drive an agency vehicle.  Successful completion of an on the site job training program or previous floor care experience is preferred.
