Support and Services Manager
Reporting to the Director of Residential & Community Living Services, the Support & Services Manager (SSM) is responsible for the management and operation of assigned residential group homes serving those with intellectual disabilities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The essential functions of this position consist of the ability to perform basic math functions, write, read, and comprehend what is read. Expressive and receptive language skills are also required in the execution of the responsibilities below. The ability to transfer and lift individuals with or without assistance and to occasionally push/pull may also be required. Twisting, bending, and other physical movements may be required at varying degrees. All the above may be performed with or without reasonable accommodation.
DUTIES:
-Manages program operations within assigned residential group homes, including hiring and managing staff, facilitating training, and ensuring compliance with agency policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
-Responsible for visiting, at a minimum, one group home per day and will visit all assigned residential group homes within their responsibility at least once every two weeks.
-Ensure residential group homes have the furnishings and equipment necessary to deliver care and ensure associated vehicles are maintained in accordance with SOPs.
-Manage the budget for assigned residential group homes, including the review and approval of financials/receipts.
-Serves as the point person for Home and Community Services Information System (HCSIS) including managing participant incidents in HCSIS and Enterprise Incident Management (EIM), ensuring proper documentation, reporting, and follow-up of incidents in compliance with regulatory requirements.
-Collaborate with the support team, ensuring the implementation of Individualized Service Plans (ISPs) by staff.
-Direct and oversee medication management process which includes serving as the medication trainer for other staff and colleagues.
-Assist with annual licensing preparation, plans of corrections, and other quality management duties as needed.
-Ensures that individuals are given the opportunity to participate in at least two community integration activities each week.
-Collaborate with peers to develop an on-call schedule, responding to crisis situations and call-in requests in a timely manner.
-Schedules and participates in routine meetings with direct and indirect reports, and individuals served.
-Partner with leadership team to manage the communications for staff and leadership including annual enrollment guides, new hire guides, etc.
-Actively participate in the role of coach and mentor for DSPs, home coordinators as well as new and experienced staff.
-Assists with the development of coaches and mentors
-Perform other related duties and assignments as directed by the Director of Residential & Community Living Services. This position will also serve as the backup for the positions supervised.
HOURS: Exempt, 40+ Hours per Week, Scheduled On-Call Required to include one weekend per month and off-shifts

QUALIFICATIONS:
Requirements include a Bachelor's Degree in human services, social work, psychology, or related field and (2) years of relevant experience (OR) a High School Diploma or equivalent and four (4) years of experience.
