The Custodial Services Supervisor is responsible for fulfilling the operational goals of the Custodial Services Department which are performed in accordance with agency policies and customer regulations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The essential functions of this position consist of the ability to perform advanced math functions, write, read and comprehend what is read. Expressive and receptive language skills are also required in the execution of the responsibilities below. In fulfilling this job, one must be able to move about specific custodial sites. Also required is the ability to occasionally lift, push, and/or pull with or without assistance. Twisting, bending and other physical movements are required (at varying degrees) depending upon the work to be done. One must possess enough physical mobility to lift at least 50 lbs. and possess a high degree of manual dexterity.
Must have computer knowledge in Microsoft Word and Excel.

SPECIFIC DUTIES
The Custodial Services Supervisor will be responsible for all duties and responsibilities of the Lead Custodian and the following in conjunction with the Custodial Services Division Manager:

1. Responsible for hiring, supervising, scheduling, and evaluating custodial staff.
2. Ensure an adequate pool of trained workers is available for assignment to various sites by establishing
and maintaining a custodial training program.
3. Assure contract requirements are met by properly completing necessary paperwork for site surveys,
government agencies, and documentation of daily operations, as applicable.
4. Maintain good customer relations by responding immediately and appropriately to questions or
complaints and periodically checking on their level of satisfaction with the service.
5. Serves as the back-up to Lead Custodians, as needed.
6. Perform other job-related assignments as requested.

HOURS: 40 hours per week, varied times, on-call status and some weekend work
required; Non-Exempt position

IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Custodial Services Division Manager

POSITIONS SUPERVISED: Custodial Department

QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent and 3 years of related experience, required.
Must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to drive an agency vehicle.
Must have computer experience in Microsoft Word or Excel.
