Susan has been a pediatric occupational therapist assistant at Hope Children’s Development Center for more than 16 years in various settings. She previously worked in early intervention, but now practices primarily in school districts, outpatient services, and the preschool program. She has been managing and implementing various summer programs since 2002.
"I was also a parent of a child with disabilities and received support from therapists at the Children’s Development Center, which led me to a career in the same therapeutic field of practice.
One of the greatest rewards for me is working alongside another person(s) to support and encourage a child, then seeing how they and their family progress. You feel like you contributed to a little piece of their future success. What a privilege it is to be reminded of the true blessings in life!"
