WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. –  Hope Enterprises, a non-profit provider of services for individuals with intellectual disABILITIES in Lycoming, Clinton, Northumberland, Columbia, Montour, Snyder, and Union counties, invites area residents to Dance the Night Away on Friday, May 4, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Genetti Hotel to benefit Hope.

Modeled after ABC's "Dancing with the Stars," the organization's second-annual dance event pairs community leaders from Lycoming County with Hope individuals in a fun and friendly dance competition. Last year's event included 200 guests and 20 sponsors and raised $8,200.

"Dance the Night Away with Hope is a fun and entertaining evening that engages members of the community along with Hope employees, friends and individuals for a very worthy cause," said Robert Labatch, president of Hope Enterprises. "Funds raised through this event will help us continue providing essential services to those in our region with intellectual disABILITIES – services such as those that offer early intervention and therapy for children, independent living and social skills for teens, and life skills and employment readiness for adults."

Ticket prices for Dance the Night Away 2018 begin at $25 and can be purchased online at www.hopeability.org/dance or at Hope's Business Resource Center at 2401 Reach Road. Sponsorship opportunities range from $150 to $500. Those interested in sponsoring this year's event should contact Mackenzie Howe, Hope's director of development, at [email protected] for more information.
